The Limerick Voice-Limerick Suicide Watch joins the Jerusalema Dance Challenge by Ciaran Van Dam

Limerick Suicide Watch (LSW) are the most recent recent group to join in on the Jerusalema Dance Challenge, taking to the banks of the River Shannon to showcase their moves.

LSW used the dance craze as an opportunity to lift spirits and to show off Limerick City.

“What we do on patrol is very serious and can be intense, and it’s not often we get to enjoy the surroundings as a group. We took the opportunity to show off our amazing city too,” said LSW members Edel Henriques and Elaine Leahy.

Members and their families of all ages came together to perform the routine, carefully adhering to social distancing guidelines.

“LSW relies very much on family support in order for us to be able to go out late in the night on patrol and so when something like this comes along we always try and include some of our kids if they wish.”

LSW are extremely pleased with the end result, and are happy to have been able to do something new.

“Everyone was excited about it and it was a really lovely time shooting and doing something different during these challenging times! We would like to also say a big thank you to videographer Krzysztof Piotr Luszczki for doing an amazing video, something we’ll have forever.”
